SMS Terms and Privacy Policy
Last Updated:
These SMS Terms and Privacy Policy explain how the Domu Technology Messaging Program works, what messages you can expect, how to get help, how to stop messages at any time, and how we handle your information. They apply to all SMS/MMS messages sent through Domu’s platform to consumers in the United States, and they supplement our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Program name and sender
Program name: Domu Technology Messaging Program. The program is operated by Domu Technology Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Domu,” “we,” “us”), on behalf of the enterprise clients that use Domu’s AI-powered communications platform. Messages identify the client or brand you have a relationship with.
2. Program description
Domu’s text messaging program delivers automated, service-related SMS/MMS messages on behalf of financial services clients. Messages may include:
Payment reminders and payment confirmations
Account notifications and status updates
Collection notices
Appointment and call-back confirmations
Replies to messages you send us, and other client-authorized service messages
Domu does not use this program to send messages you have not agreed to receive, and we do not enroll you in more than one program based on a single opt-in.
3. How you opt in
You only receive messages after you give consent to the client you do business with, for example by checking an unchecked box on a web form, providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, or texting a keyword. At the moment you opt in, the client discloses the program name, a description of the messages, message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, how to opt out (STOP), and links to these terms and our privacy policy.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. After you opt in, you will receive a single confirmation message that identifies the program, explains message frequency and rates, and tells you how to get help and how to opt out.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the services provided by the client. You may receive multiple messages per month. Recurring messages are sent only as needed to fulfill the services you requested.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier, not by Domu. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
6. How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message. You can also reply END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages from that program. To join again, follow the client’s enrollment instructions or contact us at domu@domu.ai.
7. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for help. We will reply with the program name and our contact details. You can also reach our customer care team:

Phone: +1 850 364 4843
Mail: 2261 Market Street STE 86157, San Francisco, CA 94114
8. Sample messages
Opt-in confirmation: “[Client] via Domu: You’re subscribed to account and payment alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
HELP reply: “Domu Technology Messaging Program: For help, email domu@domu.ai or call +1 850 364 4843. Reply STOP to cancel.”
STOP reply: “Domu Technology Messaging Program: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages.”
9. Supported carriers
The program is available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on network availability and is not guaranteed.
10. Prohibited content
The program is never used to send spam, fraudulent or misleading messages, hate speech, profanity, violent or adult content, or content related to illegal substances, high-risk lending, debt forgiveness or third-party lead generation. All messaging follows the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and wireless carrier codes of conduct.
11. SMS privacy policy
We collect your mobile number, your consent record (date, time and method of opt-in), and the content and delivery status of messages only to deliver the program, answer your requests, keep records required by law, and honor opt-outs. We protect this information with the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as SMS aggregators and carriers) strictly to operate the program. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by writing to domu@domu.ai.
12. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the program or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to receive messages after an update means you accept the updated terms. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
